Ever try to make a snowball recently (well, not recently-recently, unless you've been skiing lately because there is a surprising - not that I'm complaining - lack of the floaty white stuff this year)? Did you end up realizing that it's a lot harder to make a proper snowball than you'd think? First, it's hard to get the size right. Then it's hard to pack it tight enough that it'll stay a ball. And THEN it's even harder not to make it so tight that it hurts the crap out of whoever you throw it at.
