I started to get them my first year of law school (no surprise there!) and it's gotten increasingly worse. After much research, I found out what I have--Chronic Tension Headache. ugh.
Apparently a large majority of Americans suffer from this and for those of you who also suffer from this...I feel your pain. No over the counter drug helps EVER!!! So...instead of going to a regular doctor (b/c i know they'll tell me that there's nothing I can do but relax or put me on prescriptive drugs), I decided to see an acupuncturist!
After a very high recommendation from a friend who also suffered the same fate, I went to my first consultation. It was interesting. The doctor asked me a series of question, and found several connections that could be the cause.
After placing a bunch of needles on my head, around my eyes, my legs and my toes, I felt nothing. But he also gave me some really nasty herbal tea and I have to continue to come back for the next couple of weeks.
Sigh. I hope this gets rid of them...and I definitely have my reservations. We'll see.
Any thoughts?

I really hope that helps and if it does please let us know b/c I also suffer from constant headaches. My best friend is a physical therapist and we do a lot of work on relaxing my body it has helped but still hasn't stopped it. I also found that taking feverfew capsuls help but that's only if I take it when my headaches are in the early stages.
I will definitely keep you posted! I know how difficult it is to get rid of it, and how frustrating it is when you have it! So far I feel like my headaches have gotten better...but who knows.
