Target, Target, Target. We all love you, and honestly, before today I would have said that you could do no wrong in my eyes. Key words: before + today.
Aren't these chairs nice? Microfiber, button tufting, dimensions of 25.5W x 24D x 30.5H. 729.99.
So what about these chairs from Overstock.com?
No, I didn't post the same picture twice. This set is directly off the Overstock.com website. Microfiber, button tufting, 25.5W x 24D x 30.5H. 429.99.
THESE ARE THE SAME CHAIRS. Both sites even have the SAME PICTURES.
And yet, Target is selling them for almost double! WTH, Target. I guess I could give you the benefit of the doubt and surmise that Overstock stole that picture and it's not the same set of chairs, but I really feel like that's a bit of a reach.
I mean, I still think you're the happiest place in the world, and there's no way that I'm ever going to stop prancing around your stores nationwide, but now whenever I buy things, I'm going to wonder...is it cheaper somewhere else?! Is my beloved Target cheating me somehow?
I feel dirty. My innocence and wide-eyed adoration for you has been sullied. And that's something that only an extraordinary amount of sales and good deals will fix. So get on that, thanks.
